Instead of opening apps, clicking through menus, and doing the work yourself, you open a chat and ask. On the other side are AI agents that can actually do things — read and write your files, run tasks, search the web, send a message, build something, and keep working in the background while you go do something else. It looks like a messaging app, because that's the point: the way you get work done is by having a conversation.
You don't need to know any commands. You type what you want in plain language, and an agent figures out how to do it. If it needs something from you — a file, a confirmation, a login — it asks you right there in the chat.

You ask once. The agent does the work, shows you the result, and remembers the context so the next message picks up where you left off.
Why it's different
It's not a chatbot. A chatbot talks. Lowkey agents act — they have hands. They work inside a real workspace with real files, can run things, and the results stick around: documents you can open, tasks that keep running, a history you can come back to.
It's not an IDE or a terminal. Lowkey gives you the power of a developer's setup — agents that read and write files and run commands — without asking you to be a developer. No editor to learn, no command line, nothing to install. It works from your phone or your browser.

It has more than one agent. Different agents are good at different things, and you can bring more than one into the same conversation. They share context, so handing a problem from one to another doesn't mean starting over.
Your box, your data
Every Lowkey customer gets their own private instance — not a shared service. Your projects, your files, your conversations, and your agents' credentials live on a machine that's yours alone. Nothing is pooled with other customers.
Agents are powerful because they can really act on your behalf, and Lowkey is honest about what that means: an agent works with real access to your workspace. That's why isolation is one box per customer, and why you stay in control — agents ask before doing anything sensitive, and you can stop any task at any time.
